Al Boschetto Holiday

Our building accomodation is located in an excellent position to reach the most popular places of Cilento and the Gulf of Policastro.
Recently built it overhangs Scario and overlooks on the East and on the South the Gulf of Policastro with its beautifull coastline and its unique landescapes. Westewords you have the majestic massif of Bulgheria.
The building is completely sorrounded by grenery, flanked by an old olive grove and a small forest of property.
It is the perfect place to relax and plunge yourself into the most important places of natural and cultural interest: the beauty of the National Park of Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni and the protected marine oasis of Porto Infreschi as well as the WWF's site in Morigerati. There are several paths in the nature and along the Bussento river about which you can learn its history or enjoy a canoe trip surrounded by greenery.

Situated on the coast of the Gulf of Policastro, Scario is a little village considered one of the most attractive destination especially for its paradisiac beaches accessible only by boat. With its incredible caves, beaches, baies and its clear sea, Scario give you the opportunity to live an experience in a unique atmosphere. The coast stretches until the near village of Marina di Camerota, passing through the natural bay of Porto Infreschi nestled between rocks.

Policastro Bussentino

A few minutes eastward there is Policastro Bussentino that with its long beach, is a tourist destination especially for families. The village that gives its name to the Gulf, produced Libius Severus who was emperor of Rome in 461 BC. The old town, through the ruins of the Castle to the Cathedral, shows its thousand year old history. Repeatedly destroyed by the Saracen, Policastro still has the ruins of the greek-Roman city wall and recent excavations have brought to light important findings.

Il Golfo di Policastro

Not so far from Scario, there are other tourist destinations like Capitello, Villammare and Sapri. Sapri, also called "La citta' della Spigolatrice" about the poetic works of Mercantini which commemorate the landing of Pisacane, is the last village on the coast of Campania.
Just 15 minutes away, we find the beautiful town of Maratea on the coast of Basilicata.

The hinterland

Noteworthy are also the hinterlands' villages, with their historical and cultural heritage. Even now these villages show their rich traditions. For examples in Caselle in Pittari we can apprecciate the Palio del Grano: an interesting cultural exhibition that shows the origins of the local rural culture. In Morigerati instead, we can explore the wonderful WWF's site, the spectacular karstic feautere and the Etnographic Museum. Finally in Bosco, we can visit the house-museum of the spanish artist Jose' Ortega.

The building accommodation is divided in 8 furnished flats. Each flat is composed of a kitchenette and a living room with sofa bed and TV, toilet and terrace with scenic view on the first floor. At the second floor, instead, there is a relaxing area with a sofa bed and a toilet.
